Spring/ Summer Collection 2013

I love to paddle board to work. Though my path each morning may be the same, the color and texture of the ocean I’m riding changes with the elements…from smoky gray to calming foam green; from silky brown to sun-splashed brilliant navy. So invigorating! I am excited to share with you the fabulous natural fabrics and metallic blends I have found to capture this essence. To me, they speak sophistication and femininity and yet, like the coming seasons, are playful and light. They are simply, Silver Marin.  The Reversible Shift Dress and Marin Tank Dresses are so striking with their French Sailor stripe put vertically to give a defining fashion edge. Inspired by a gust of wind crossing an overcast sea, the subtle raised grey stripe of the Wrap Shirt Dress makes a favorite style incredibly flattering.  I know you will enjoy the airy fabrics and style of the Wind Shift shirt, the romantic couture of the Linen Blouse (now in plus sizes!), the boldness of the Marin Tank Top as well as the contrasting super soft, super sexy Slinky and Cloud Dresses, perfect with heels or flip-flops!  Ultra Effortless.  Ultra comfortable.  Ultra cool. Our new “dressy denim” Silver Vermeil Pant or white palazzo Sailor Pant will add just the right flair of sophistication to any casual cocktail party or summer fundraiser you attend. The metallic memory fabric of the Rock N Roll Coat, with its uneven hem line as crisp and taut as a sail, speaks of the Stina Sayre Design woman: powerful, comfortable and naturally feminine, whether at work or play.  When the weather dips, you will be ready with our edgy yet comfortable 3-season Asymmetrical All Weather Coat in water and wind resistant nylon, now in 4 color choices, as well as Trench Coat with its stand up collar and placket pockets…zip it up or just wrap it with the attached belt for a more casual look. After a seemingly endless winter, my new Silver Marin  Collection speaks of lazy summer afternoons, cool sand between your toes and flat stones skipping over the rolling white caps.
